Project Overview — Full AI Commercial Production

A second Full AI Commercial created together with HOBBY for the Swedish wallpaper brand Wallism—this time featuring sophisticated talking poodles in a controlled, elegant interior.

As a follow-up to the Dalmatines spot, this film raised the bar in terms of precision, continuity, and realism. The goal was not only to make the animals talk convincingly, but to maintain fine-grained character behavior, consistent locations, and detailed tableware continuity across multiple shots—while preserving strong comedic timing.

This project reflects how AI commercial production evolves fast: tools and workflows that did not exist two months earlier already enabled better control, sharper consistency, and more nuanced performances.

Creative Focus: Refinement Over Spectacle

  • As the dalmatines film, the poodles demanded a restrained, sophisticated tone:

    • Controlled performances with subtle expressions, driven by the voices

    • Elegant interior staging

    • Precise alignment of wallpaper patterns, furniture, and table props

    • Comedy through timing and contrast, not exaggeration

The challenge was to keep the humor alive while pushing maximum realism—a balance that requires manual effort, iteration, and direction in Full AI productions.

1. Image Generation & Environment Control

Starting from a single concept image, hundreds of variations were generated to establish:

  • Consistent poodle characters
  • Repeating wallpaper patterns
  • Stable room geometry and tableware placement

AI image generation and refinement were done using Seedream 4, Seedream 4K, and Google DeepMind Nano Banana via Freepik, followed by extensive editing, replacements, and inpainting in Adobe Photoshop to lock continuity.

2. Voice Design & Performance First

All dialogue was created with custom voice design in ElevenLabs.
Multiple voice takes were generated and carefully edited until the right tonality and rhythm matched the characters.
As with all projects, the voice performance was finalized before animation, ensuring natural pacing and believable delivery.

3. Talking Poodles Animation

Primary talking-head animation was executed with HeyGen Avatar IV, still delivering the most convincing results for animal avatars driven by image and audio input.
Additional shots and transitions were generated using Veo 3 and Kling AI to expand visual coverage.

4. Music, Edit & Final Polish

  • Music generated with ElevenLabs using custom prompts
  • Edit, sound design & finishing in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • 4K upscaling with Topaz Video AI

Every step was focused on polish, restraint, and timing— so the final commercial feels human shaped, but animal driven.

FAQ

Which AI tools were used to produce this full AI commercial?

The project combined several AI tools, each used where it performs best: Seedream 4 and Seedream 4K for image generation and consistency, Google DeepMind Nano Banana for rapid visual refinement, ElevenLabs for voice design and music, HeyGen Avatar IV for talking animal animation, and Veo 3 and Kling AI for additional motion shots and scene variation.

While tools improve rapidly, achieving film-level realism still requires manual curation, editing, and direction—especially when comedy and brand accuracy matter.

AI naturally excels at the unexpected — subtle imperfections, surreal timing, and slightly exaggerated performances often enhance comedic effect. When guided by strong direction, this becomes a creative advantage. In this commercial, humor emerges from controlled absurdity, precise timing, and contrast between elegant environments and expressive animal characters — making the spot memorable without undermining brand credibility.
