The Apology I Owe Myself is a deeply personal AI music video, based on a song I wrote during a trip to Tenerife with my oldest daughter.
At the time, I created several tracks with Suno V5, capturing thoughts and emotions that were very present in that moment. This one stayed with me, and went through several versions and refinements.
With the release of Pruna AI’s P-Video model, it finally became possible to translate that song into a visual performance that actually carries the emotion of this song, through rich facial expressions, human body language and almost perfect lipsync.
From Song to Performance
This project is about something very simple, but not easy:
Realizing that you haven’t treated yourself well for a long time. And slowly finding your way back.
It’s about self-reflection, forgiveness, and the process of integrating difficult experiences instead of avoiding them.
The performer is a virtual artist, but the goal was never to make it feel artificial — rather the opposite.
To create something that feels honest, expressive, and human, even though it’s fully AI-generated.
AI Singing Performance with P-Video
What made this project possible was the new P-Video model by Pruna AI, which brings a noticeable step forward in AI-driven singing performance.
Instead of stiff or generic lip-sync, the model allows for:
